Krome Studios not only been rebooted with a revamped online site, but they've also been hinting on what they've been working on most recently!

Krome Studios' new website displays new life to the long surviving Australian developer company. What started back in 1999 with a string of critical success making way to its office expansions from one in Brisbane and another two in Adelaide and Melbourne.

At the peak of Krome Studios' success, the company made it's way up the competitive ladder of being in the top 100 Developers list, and also had up to 300 full-time employees at one stage.

A little history on the Australian founded company was most renowned for its original IP, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, which was pubished by Electronic Arts. The platform game was produced onto multiple formats and released in 2002.

Other successful games created by Krome Studios include big name titles such as Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, Viva Pinata: Party Animals and more recently, Blade Kitten as a digital download game.

Also recently teased by the developer is a new game reviving their original IP title for it's 10th Anniversary edition! That title goes to Ty the Tasmanian Tiger as its landmark game of choice.

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger's last installment was almost six years ago on the previous generation consoles. This year in 2012, the Tassie Tiger's comeback will bounce his way onto iOS mobile devices.

Krome Studios regularly drops sneaks peeks and hints on their Facebook page as well as Ty's own personal FB page and a Twitter account . Additionally, recently revealed concept character art for Ty and friends can be found here by the Creative Director of the upcoming iOS game, Steve Stamatiadis.
