Firmware 3.80 features include...

Network

*[Internet Radio] has been added as a feature under [Network].

*The importing of channels in OPML format is now supported under [RSS Channel].

*Photos can now be displayed under [RSS Channel].

Video

*You can now preview each scene under [Scene Search].

Music

*New effects have been added to the visual player under [Music].

Firmware 3.80 is available now via Network Update from your PSP (wireless internet needed)
3.80 will also be made available to download to your PC from your regions Playstation Website

this could be an error but theres no information just the title.

it's the new system, the name/title comes up before you get to add the other stuff.

Its not a Japanese Update Just Japan get a another feature in 3.80 but its just for recording from the 1seg tuner (TV adapter). Firmware Updates are released worldwide through Network Update. Just the Playstation websites are a bit slow updating.
It'll be up on the www.playstation.com/ sites soon.

is there anyway to connect to the net with the psp besides the wireless router? because my cousin got 1 and it was stuffing up his PC.

Is there like a wi-fi usb connection thing like the Wii has got?

Yes I think there is a Wi-Fi USB that you can use for the PSP. Google it

Its one visualizer and its pretty bad in my opinion(i just had a quick look at it)

It is a cream coloured background and while the music plays it scribbles.

As stonecold says, I doubt many people would ever push any effective use out of this. Homebrew capable PSPs have had internet radio on them for years now so this isn't really anything new, it's just SONY crying for to others to update for no reason.
