are you SERIOUS?!?!?! graham and browne are NOT good ruckmen. Graham hasnt beaten a single opposition ruckmen (secondary ruckmen included) this season. hes also very slow and not as good as he should be overhead. Browne gives his all which is great but he is extremely slow and a turnover machine. Vickery is going to be a gem but he is of much better use as a tall forward
also, the afl website has an article securing kane cornes' future but im seeing a few articles claiming that he has been sacked. anyone have some clarity on this?

Tend to agree. They're pretty ordinary, only being played because of no other (better) options.

Tiges should be trading for a ruckman at the end of the season. Just as long as they don't get Griffin from Freo! :P

I don't think Tigers have given them enough time to grow. Graham was awesome last year, he was one of the best in the league, but most fans seem to have forgotten this because of his lack of focus this year.

Browne is slow, I agree with this, but he works so hard. He always tries his best and he is a good second ruckmen, better than most second options in the comp.

Where Richmond fall down is that they refuse to play them together, even when Vickery is playing forward. If they had Browne and Graham going tandum in the ruck, it could be awesome!

The Tigers are apparently trying to lure Ivan Maric from the Crows he's not a crap ruckman hell i'd take him at Port haha, being Brogan-less after this season doesn't look very promising unless we can trade for one :(

Wouldn't mind Ivan Maric, but I don't think he is that much better than we already have.

I really think we should concentrate on getting a key defender. I would love someone like Alex Silvagni.

Maric in tandem with Jacobs were really good against Ottens, Vardy & Leunberger the other week.

I think he'd be a good get for any team that was keen for an experienced bigman, It would also free up Vickery to establish himself as a quality KPF.

Silvagni's a gun ay Freo have done great with their mature age recruiting, didn't Alex keep Franklin goalless?

Heard the Ivan Maric rumor also. Would be a good get for Richmond I think. He gives it his all even if sometimes he makes silly decisions (See his attempt to fake his way around Vardy instead of going for goal at the 50m).

Silvagni did keep Franklin goalless which is one hell of a accomplishment.

Think this trade season will be busy. Not for collingwood. They don't like to trade. :)

Injured or not he was so horrible this year when he played.

He might still be a good defender but his rebounding skills won't be anywhere near as his 2010 season or before.

I am happy to know we won't trade to get him. He is 29.

Melbourne should be looking at youngsters you are not a top 4 team yet.

We obviously are as tony shaw said he thinks essendon can win the grand final this year :D lol

Tony Shaw is a wanker just like the rest of his family and doesn't know what his talking about, essendon won't get past the semi finals and will be lucky to beat the saints in the elimination final even though they have a good record against, but the saints will handle finals pressure a lot better.

The Swans should be very active during trade time, Beaven, Moore have got to go.

Daniel Currie will be delisted I feel and something may happen with Seaby or Pyke because we have no room for three ruckman.

Yeah hopefully its a saints win.

Also means we should have a easy win against either swans or freo at home but then most likely will have to face the eagles at paterson stadium which will be a huge task but not if we have a full strength team.

So I am thinking this as the final ladder...

1. Collingwood
2. Geelong
3. Hawthorn
4. West Coast
5. Carlton
6. St. Kilda
7. Essendon
8. Fremantle

I think Freo in 8th because they have 2 games they should win, where as Sydney has a tough run (St. Kilda and Geelong). As long as Freo win both of those, they should make the finals cause I can't see Sydney winning their 2 hard games, especially when they have only won 3 of their last 10.

I think Essendon can beat WCE this weekend, but Carlton will probably fall to Hawthorn so it will still work out the same as if they both won all their remaining games.

Of all the 3 teams that could finish 8th, North would be the only ones I think would have any chance against Carlton. On their day North can challenge most teams in the comp IMO. This is from somebody that hates Norf with a passion, more than I hate Carlton.

I read yesterday that Longmire has said that Gary Rohan will play, prob a swap for Jetta.
Wouldn't mind seeing Lamb play before the end of the season.
