Yeah but when its from a fraudilant company in another country trying to hack in to your computer.. I dont think you would be getting a knock on the door from the cops anytime soon.

As long as they continue to call me, I will continued to blow their ears out. Mind you I only do it to the one callers...

Im on the DNC list, so the only Aussie callers I get are charities.

Thank you for being one of the few that knows that charities are exempt from the DNC list, most people just got rude. If you want THEM to stop calling you can request that they remove you from their list, its better than saying "Person X is dead", the system needs 3 deceased notifications to remove from the call list.

It was a long time since I was a telemarketer but I haven't forgotten it. I am nice to them (especially because half of them call from where I worked).

I know they are exempt but I hate randon callers so they get it aswell even when you tell them to remove your number they never do

The DNC register is garbage. I joined up, and 4 weeks later was still getting calls. I was getting 5-6 calls a week, then going on the DNC stopped most of them, but i still get calls anyway. Some chinese woman or something rang me last night. "Mr Walters, it looks as like your computer is infected with viruses" blah blah blah. I mentioned i'm on the DNC register and she said that it doesnt count for them cause they're not selling anything, they're providing an "information service" and they went on to give me a link which ended up pointing me to a phising website asking for credit card information for a bogus anti-virus company. So i gave her an earful, told her i've been building and fixing computers for 14 years and there is no way there is something on my computer i don't know about. She gave me a very sarcastic "Oh thats impressive, yeah sure" then hung up on me.

I just hate telemarketers! But I never let them ruin my day or anything. They're just not worth it. I annoy them instead. I pull up pranks I get from here www.callercenter.com/... and they're effective!
